Life’s a Ride GAIG/USDF Region 8 Qualifying Competition

LEVELS: Training Level through Grand Prix. USEF Opportunity classes at Training Level and First Level.
• Six ribbons in each class.
• Classes may be cancelled due to lack of entries.
• Mail entries to Show Secretary with negative Coggins within 36 months for instate horses within 12 months for out of state horses, Flu/Rhino within 6 months and record of shots.
• Copy of USEF & USDF cards are required for members.
• No refunds after closing date, include Acts of God. Refunds given before closing date less office fee.
• Pre-entries not accepted. Make checks payable to Life’s A Ride Equestrain Center.
CLASS FEES: Opportunity = $35/class, Training through Fourth Level + $50/class, FEI and Musical Freestyles = $50/class. Add $15 for GAIG/USEF Qualifying Classes.
OTHER FEES: $25 non-refundable office fee. $20 for non-negotiable checks $20 for incomplete/illegible entries not rectified before closing date (missing hard copies, check, signature, etc) $35 USEF non-member fee $16 USEF drug fee (waived for Opportunity classes). $25 fee for entries received after closing date. $30 schooling fee.
TIMES: Tentative times will be posted June 23, 2018 on Life’s A Ride Face Book page. Official show times will be available in the show office. Please check day sheets to confirm correct ride times.
STABLING: Limited permanent 12×12 stabling available. Contact Show Secretary.
DIRECTIONS: From North or South: I-95, Take exit 36 to I-195E. Take Exit 1 onto Industrial Park Road towards ME-112. Left onto Industrial Park Road. Turn right onto ME-112 Buxton Rd. Approximately 2.3 miles on left Turn left onto Balsam Ln. Parking is in the large field on the right.
FOOTING: One large sand arena (20×60) and one small sand/microfiber indoor and grass ring warm-up arena (20×40). All classes held in standard size arena (20×60).
FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT: Food booth on site.
OTHER: No dogs allowed on grounds the day of the show. Sharps container in manger’s booth. Veterinarian On Call. Farrier On Call.
