SMDA Schooling Show

AWARDS: Six ribbons in each class awarded for JR, AA, and Open. Ribbon for High Point Intro rider, ribbon for High Point JR rider (Training and above); ribbon for High Point AA rider (Training and above); ribbon for High Point Open rider. Show management reserves the right to combine, divide, cap, or cancel classes as entries warrant.
ENTRIES: Complete entries are processed according to postmark date. Pre-entries are not accepted. Make checks payable to SMDA. See Show Policies on our website. Once the show is full, entries are placed on a wait list. Entries must include: Negative Coggins within 36 months for in-state horses; within 12 months for out-of-state horses. Full payment including class fees and other fees. Class Fees: $25/class. $15/schooling on grounds. Other Fees: $5 office fee. $35 for nonnegotiable check. $10 SMDA non-member fee. *No refunds after closing date, including Acts of God, except for wait list entries not scheduled. USDF and USEF rules and regulations are followed.
TIMES: Tentative times are posted the Thursday prior to the show date at Or, call the secretary the Thursday before the show between 6:00-9:00pm. Official show times are available in the show office.
STABLING: Not available.
DIRECTIONS: From I-95: From Exit 32 Biddeford, take Route 111W to Route 35 and turn right onto Rt. 35. At the junction with Rt. 5, turn left onto Rt. 5. Proceed approximately 2.3 miles. Show grounds are on the left. From 202 North: Bar Mills/Hollis Center and up; proceed south on Rt. 202. At the junction with Rt. 5, turn left. Show grounds are on the right approximately 0.9 miles. From 202 South: Waterboro/Alfred and down, proceed north on Rt. 202. Rt. 202/4 joins Rt. 5. Continue along Rt. 202/4/5. After approximately 1.8 miles, Rt. 5 leaves 202/4. Follow Rt. 5, show grounds are on the right approximately 0.9 miles.
FOOTING: One large sand arena and one small sand warm-up arena. Intro, Training Level 1, and Training Level 2 held in small arena. Training Level 3 and above held in large arena. Musical Freestyle and Western Dressage held in large arena.
FOOD: Water available to purchase on show grounds. No food available on show grounds. Convenience stores located within 2-3 miles of the show grounds.
OTHER: No dogs allowed on grounds the day of the show.
